Adolescent Therapy
Helping a teen to navigate this new world can be complex and challenging. According to the FDA, nearly 85% of adolescents have used flavored. E-cigarettes, and according to the NCDAS, by the 12th grade, 65% of teens will have used alcohol, and 50% will have used an illicit drug. Additionally, 40% report social media addiction, 64 % report at least weekly pornography use.
In the wake of COVID, many youth are struggling to cope with returning to school and suffer from knowledge gaps, and social anxiety. As a licensed psychotherapist, I am here to help your an adolescent or teen explore their strengths, and make good choices for a bright future.
